San Francisco 4/10/04
Thanx to all that came out to the Milk Bar on April 10th, 2004. It was a great night! DJ MIKE NICE started out the evening in the front room with some classic 80's hip-hop while we had Prince footage playing on one plasma tv and Michael playing on the other. At 11pm we kicked off the Prince vs. Michael battle with the Brace Youself video intro. We had some difficulty running the music videos that night but we improvised and JEFF HARRIS and myself (DAVE PAUL) kept the tunes rocking on four turntables. Prince won rounds 1 and 2, Michael won round 3, and on Saturday night Michael took round 4. All the girls were singing the words to all of his songs and when Billy Jean broke, even he guys were singing. Prince did have some moments (Kiss, Erotic City, Head, Housequake) and everyone seemed to be having a good time and kept dancing no matter which artist was playing. DERRICK D closed out the night with an 80's 45 set.
