and the Jackson family during this ultimate party! This face-off always promises
to be a dance marathon as djs mix album cuts, remixes, rare tracks and classics
from their extensive music collections to battle it out on the turntables. The
Prince vs Michael Experience is meant to celebrate the music of two of the biggest
pop cultural icons of our generation. It is done with love and mutual respect
for both artists.

5, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Vanity 6 and many more. Who will win, The Purple
One or the King of Pop? Who cares... this is the perfect night out to lounge with
your friends, make some new friends, get your drink on, dance your @ss off and
celebrate the music of both these pop stars.
The experience is presented
by bombhiphop.com who have successfully produced 78 of these events in San Francisco
as well as Seattle, Portland, Bend and Vancouver, BC.
"For SEVEN years now, Dave Paul (proprietor of hip-hop label Bomb Records)
has hosted and DJ'ed at the brilliant "Prince vs. Michael Jackson" parties.
As selections of hits, rarities, and remixes from both artists are presented over
the course of the evening, audience members square off in funky battle, holding
signs bearing the mug of their favored entertainer to judge which one is the true
king of pop. This sure ain't the place for cynics, but Darling Nikki's and Dirty
Diana's are all welcome to participate." - SF WEEKLY
"The show speaks for itself" - Michael
Jackson

about the PvsM dj's
Dave Paul began his music career in 1984, starting as a mobile dj and evolving
into a prominent college radio and club dj in San Francisco. In 1991 he launched
the now legendary company Bomb Hip-Hop. With an emphasis on the four elements
of hip-hop, Dave Paul created the archetypal independent company, encompassing
everything from management to an online store, concert promotion to magazine,
merchandise to a record label. He has been featured in URB magazine, CMJ, XLR8R,
appeared on the front cover of Billboard, and is featured in the motion picture
SCRATCH. With the b-boys revenge and the DJs return,
the one man army of Dave Paul is a true hero of the global independent scene,
having unleashed upon the world the pioneering Return of the DJ series as well
as a slew of international artists and producers. Mr. Paul has dj'ed throughout
the US, toured Europe and the UK, and produces theme parties in the Bay Area.
Beginning his professional music career in 1985, Jeff Harris established
himself as one of the top DJ's in Northern California. First with the prominent
mobile music company Good Vibrations, remaining with the organization until 1990.
Jeff is a veteran of over 1,000 performances as a mobile and club DJ. Specializing
in weddings, Mr. Harris is also highly skilled in performing at corporate events,
anniversaries, birthday parties, nightclubs, and other special events requiring
professional music entertainment. While attending college Jeff became the Music
Director of influential college station KCSF, helping to establish the CHR-urban/Hip
Hop radio format that would be adapted by P-1 radio giant KMEL to which Jeff Harris
served as a consultant to the programmers during the early 90's. From radio, Jeff
crossed over into the record business in 1991 working for major label Polygram
Group Distribution, followed by marketing & promotion stints for Allegro Corporation
and Innovative Distribution Network.
