Born in the multicultural mecca of The San Francisco Bay Area, Boac (pronounced Bo-ak) began soaking in true musical genius at an early age. Discussing his early years Boac remembers, "2Pac came to my high school in Marin for one year, before he went on to become a musical icon. I was a freshmen and he was a junior. I had been rapping for a few years at that time. I used to go to the deli across from our school after class and listen to him freestyle with some other local rappers. Nobody knew him. He was a great source of inspiration for me. We were all so proud when he first appeared on the radio with Digital Underground."

Boac slowly got his start as a rapper and producer, playing shows with The Earthlings, opening for legendary acts De La Soul, Old Dirty Bastard, KRS-One, Rakim, Goodie Mobb, Fishbone and Jurassic 5. The Earthlings also participated in large hip hop festivals such as "Broke Ass Summer Jam", and headline their own "Fuck Pop" convention at The Maritime Hall in San Francisco. He released his first album, Modern Originalus, on 2B1 Records in 1998.

"In 2001 I moved to LA for a year and spent most of my time in the studio with Z-Trip, watching and learning about what it really takes to succeed. I learned the true discipline from Zach. He was more focused and ready to get to where he wanted to go musically than anyone I've ever been friends with in music. After seeing how he put his mixes, remixes and mashups together I knew what it took. Full time dedication, ultimate personal sacrifice. Later on I saw the same thing with Sunspot Jonz. 15 hours in the studio? Every day. Music first at all costs. I carry that focus with me to this day."

Boac has toured with hip-hop Icons Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, X-Men, Emceed for Z-Trip, and the 2004 Vans Warped Tour with Atmosphere & Non Phixion alongside TopR, Z-Man and Bootleg. In 2008 he formed "Machete Vox Records" with Dnae Beats and released the now classic Hip-Hop / Electronic hybrid album "Sneak Preview". In 2013 he formed "SKYWALKERS" and released a self titled album, a breakthrough collaboration between himself and Sunspot Jonz (founding member of Living Legnds), they went on to play the 2013 Paid Dues Indie Hip-Hop festival. "I came up watching how Sunspot Jonz and the The Living Legends crew hustled music independently. Nobody was doing it like these guys. They pioneered DIY in Hip Hop. Make your own album with a 4-Track recorder, press it yourself and then sell it in front of shows. At the time it was revolutionary and changed the whole musical landscape."
